Sarah Paulson needs no introduction. She’s a favourite among Team DIVA and our readers. She’s stunned us all with an impressive versatile range of acting roles. And she’s pure class. Over the course of her career, she’s received many accolades. But she is perhaps most known for her roles in American Horror Story, Ratched and The People V O.J. Simpson.

Do you consider yourself to be a supreme Sarah Paulson fan? Take a look and see if you know all of these fun facts…

Her eight-year-long relationship with Holland Taylor was started on Twitter

Sarah’s relationship with Holland Taylor has served up a glorious amount of WLW love in the mainstream. But how did it all begin?

Well, the couple first met at a party in 2005 but were dating other people. Fast forward ten years, and sparks began to fly on social media after the stars started following each other on Twitter and Holland slipped into Sarah’s DMs.

She’s best friends with Pedro Pascal

While she has a captivating romantic story between her and Holland, she also has plenty of platonic love in her life. Did you know that she’s besties with Pedro Pascal? Not only that, but they’ve had a 30-year-long friendship with The Last Of Us star.

Sarah and Cate Blanchett have shared a screen three times

At the time of writing, Sarah and “lesbian icon” Cate Blanchett have shared a screen three times. Sarah played Cate’s ex-lover in the quintessential queermas film, Carol. And they’ve also shared a screen in Mrs. America and Ocean’s 8.

They share a screen so well because they are very much good friends IRL. This is evidenced by how chaotic their interviews together always have been.

She accidentally came out at the 2005 Tony Awards

Sarah dated fellow actor, Cherry Jones, between 2004 and 2009. And the couple caused quite the sapphic stir when they kissed onscreen at the 2005 Tony Awards. Sarah has spoken about this being the moment she was accidentally outed.
She said: “It was the reality of the person I was with. She just won a Tony Award – I’m not gonna pat her on the back, give her the big thumbs up and say, ‘Go up there sweetie.’ It was not a really conscious thought. I didn’t think of what the implications were gonna be. I just did what was true and honest to me in that moment.”

She made acting herstory during the 2017 awards season

For her portrayal of Marcia Clark in The People V O.J. Simpson, Sarah received an Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG, Critics’ Choice and Television Critics Association award all in the same award circuit. This was monumental and made her the first female actor to ever do so.

And this was a big year for her, as she was also named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine.

Her directorial debut was episode six of American Horror Story: Apocalypse

For this season of the horror series franchise, Sarah reprised her roles of Billie Dean Howard and Cordelia Foxx, and starred as Miss Wilhemina Venable. As if that wasn’t enough, she also made her directorial debut with the sixth episode. Talk about multitasking!

She knows what she would want her last meal to be

In an interview with Huffpost, the actor said her death row meal would be a filet mignon, well-done, fries, and a pint of cookies and cream ice cream.

Do you know her astrological “big three”?

The Ocean’s 8 star is a Sagittarius Sun, Aquarius Moon and Virgo rising.
