The Sex In The City reboot is coming back to our screens!

Before 2021 came to an end, Sex In The City fans got to be reunited with Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte in the reboot titled And Just Like That…. Viewers also got introduced to some new faces such as Che Diaz, played by Sara Ramirez, the non-binary host of the X, Y And Me podcast.
Last week, HBO Max announced that the series has officially been renewed for another season. The reboot has already explored issues like sexuality, gender identity, race and ageing head on. In a statement published by The Hollywood Reporter, HBO Max head of original content Sarah Aubrey commented: “We have been delighted by the cultural conversation generated by these characters and their stories, set in a world we already know and love so much. We are proud of the work Michael Patrick King and our wonderful writers, producers, cast and crew have done to bring these stories to the screen. We can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store for season two.”
There’s no confirmed release date for the second season yet, so your guess is as good as mine. But if it follows the timing of season one, perhaps we can be reunited with the cast in time for Christmas.

Appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, whilst teaching viewers how to eat (rainbow sprinkled) cupcakes and avoiding a mess, Anne commented that: “I’m kind of feeling I’m in a rainbow mood. I feel like we should just keep saying gay and Florida, and we should wear as much rainbow as possible, while that idiocy is being debated.”

Earlier this month, Florida passed an anti-LGBTQI “Don’t Say Gay” bill, banning discussions on sexual orientation and gender identity in the classroom across the state. Many have protested against the bill with many celebrities have used their platforms to voice the horrors of this legislation.
