“There are so many stories, movies and plays that would be really great queer. Like a queer Othello. Could you imagine?”

“We came back in August in the heart of Covid. We knew that we were essentially risking our lives and our health to make this film. But it was some- thing that we all felt in our bones, straight down to the marrow, that we wanted to be a part of. We just had to keep going. It was all worth it.”
On her work ethic
“Things didn’t come easy to me and I’m so grateful for that. It makes me hungry every day. It lights a fire under my ass to really get out there and do my best.”
