At Cryos we strongly believe in everyone’s right to choose their own journey to parenthood and on our website we have heightened focus on supporting LGBTQI families. Our wish is to make your dream of a family come true.
As a lesbian couple, you have different options to create your own little family. You can choose to adopt, co-parent, using a friend as a donor or you can choose to use donor sperm for fertility treatment. When you choose to use a sperm donor there are a lot of other things to consider, for example:
- Which of you will carry the baby?
- What type of donor will you choose?
- How to tell your child that he or she is donor-conceived?
- Do you want siblings for your child?

In line with Cryos’ focus on supporting all family forms on their journey, we continuously gather enlightening and positive personal stories from lesbian parents. We find that personal stories can be both helpful and comforting when you are ready to take the first step towards becoming a mother. You can read all of the personal stories on our blog here.

Connect with like-minded people
It can be extremely valuable to share experiences with people who are taking the same steps as you or hear stories from people who are already happy parents of donor-conceived children. Therefore, we have created the Facebook group Family Dreams, which is a safe place to connect with like-minded people. In the Facebook group, you can ask questions, share your story, and see pictures from other families. It is the place to be when you are considering fertility treatment.
