The Lovie Awards, which “recognise the unique and resonant nature of the European Internet community – from Europe’s top web and creative networks and content publishers, to cultural and political organisations and individual creators,” has selected DIVA as a finalist in their Community & Social Category.

On receiving her award at Black Girls Rock in 2018, Lena Waithe spoke of freedom, “Let’s get free of the idea that we can’t go after our dreams, because of how we look, where we come from, who we love, or how old we are.” AMEN!

Indya Moore

At the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Media Awards, actor Indya Moore received the award for Cover Of The Year. There, she used her speech as a way to raise awareness for the trans women murdered this year in the United States:

“On this day that I’m celebrated and awarded for being visible, I decided to bring them with me, I’m wearing them on my ears as earrings.”

Megan Rapinoe

Megan Rapinoe was crowned Best FIFA Women’s Player Of The year, talking about how the fight of LGBTQI players inspires her every day.
