YouTube royalty and three-time DIVA cover stars Rose and Rosie Daughton have welcomed their beautiful baby boy into the world, and we couldn’t be more happy for them.
The couple, who will celebrate 10 years together later this year, are the most successful same-sex couple on YouTube in the UK, and have a mantelpiece bursting with awards to show for it, including the DIVA Broadcaster of the Year, which they took home in April 2021.
Now the pair have the most treasured gift of all – a gorgeous baby boy.
Rosie gave birth on Thursday 1 July at 3.14am, at Cheltenham Aveta Birth Centre, sharing the wonderful news with their millions of followers shortly afterwards.
“Baby boy, I’ll never, ever forget roaring you into this world,” said Rosie. “I love you so, so much. You’re everything I ever dreamed of and more. My family is complete ❤️”
Wife Rose also shared a heart melting snap of the three on Instagram, writing: “I cannot tell you how amazing my wife is and how much I love her.
“After 48 hours and one hell of a journey, Rosie gave birth to our gorgeous little boy on July 1st at 3:14am.
“She is the most incredible woman I’ve ever met and my God, do we have some stories to tell! Thank you @chuikingli for capturing us welcoming little frog into the world!
“I love you my boy. But don’t ever answer me back.”
It’s been a wild ride for the proud parents, who have documented the highs and lows of their fertility journey via their podcast, Parental Guidance. From raising awareness of miscarriage and the trauma that comes with it after Rose lost their first child, to highlighting inequalities in fertility, they’ve become much-needed role-models to same-sex parents everywhere.
