Would you do anything for the house of your dreams? In Netflix’s new show, No Good Deed, several couples stop at nothing as their perfect home joins the market. Like many shows from this streaming service, the cast is full of big names. Want to know where you’ve seen them before? Look no further…

Abbi Jacobson (Leslie Fisher)

In No Good Deed, Abbi is a woman who goes to great lengths to try and secure her and her wife’s dream house. Before that she’s done everything from comedy TV shows to voicing characters in The Lego Ninjago Movie.

Abbi is best known for Broad City, a series she co-created and co-starred in as Abbi Abrams. She also wrote and starred in Amazon Prime’s A League Of Their Own, in which she played Carson Shaw, whose romance with fellow baseball player Greta Gill delighted sapphics everywhere.

Poppy Liu (Sarah)

They’re playing Leslie’s wife in this show, but before that, Poppy was in three seasons of Hacks. As Kiki, they were Deborah Vance’s personal blackjack dealer. They’ve also been in American Born Chinese as Princess Iron Fan and season two of The Afterparty as Grace Zhu.

Off screen, Poppy founded production company Collective Sex, which aims to decolonise storytelling and eliminate stigmas around sex and identity. They are also a doula and offers free services to women of colour and trans people.

Lisa Kudrow (Lydia Morgan)

Once you’ve finished No Good Deed, stay on Netflix because that’s where you can find Friends, one of the biggest shows ever. Lisa was Phoebe Buffay (aka Princess Conseula Banana-Hammock), the quirky one of the core friend group.

Ray Romano (Paul Morgan)

Everybody loves Ray Romano – or at least, they do according to his hit TV show Everybody Loves Raymond and its multiple spin-offs. As a writer, executive producer and actor, Ray played Raymond Barone, a sportswriter from Long Island.

Linda Cardellini (Margo Starling)

If those bidding for Lydia and Paul’s house will stop at nothing to get it, Margo Starling will stop at nothing to sell it. But before she was a scarily perfect realtor, Linda Cardellini had an amazing career.

In 1999, Linda was in the brilliant show Freaks And Geeks. She then went on to play Velma in two live-action Scooby-Doo films, a role that has become quite the sapphic icon for her homoerotic friendship with Daphne. She’s also been in Brokeback Mountain, a few MCU avengers films as the wife of Hawkeye and Legally Blonde as homicidal Chutney Windham.

Kate Moennig (Gwen)

We probably don’t need to tell you where you’ve seen Kate Moennig before but we’re going to anyway because any chance to talk about Shane McCutcheon is one we’ll take! Kate was, of course, in the brilliant sapphic show The L Word, and its spin-off The L Word: Generation Q, as Shane, a womanising serial monogamist.

She has since started a podcast, PANTS, with her co-star Leisha Hailey. The two also have a book coming out soon, all about their friendship!
