It’s official, our faves will be returning to our screens and the stage

Since its debut in 2021, the HBO Max original series has become a favourite amongst viewers for it’s dark-comedy, wit, authentic queer representation and ability to make people deep belly laugh whilst also hitting us with emotional truths.

The series follows the professional and unexpected personal relationship between comedy-diva Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and Gen Z writer Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder). The second season ended in a cathartic but bittersweet way, so fans were overjoyed when HBO Max announced that the cast would be heading back to our screens and the stage for a third season.

Johnny Sibilly, who is part of the Hacks and Queer As Folk (2022) cast commented: “👏🏽😍😍😍”

Megan Statler wrote: “WE GOT A SEASON THREE BABY”

Earlier this month, the showrunners spoke to Entertainment Weekly and teased that: “When we pitched the show, we actually pitched where the series would end, which is not what you saw in episode 8 of season 2.”

We cannot wait to see what the team and cast get up to in this next chapter.

Hacks is available to stream on HBO Max and Prime Video.
