We can’t wait to see the Selling Sunset star play a gay mum-to-be in this upcoming film

Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause brought queer visibility to the spotlight when she came out in spring 2022 by announcing that she was dating non-binary musician G Flip, who she went on to marry earlier this year. Since then the lovebirds have cemented themselves as ultimate #CoupleGoals – they even appeared in the final season of The L Word: Generation Q as themselves.
While Chrishell is widely known as a reality star, she’s no stranger to the world of acting. Her credits include US soap, All My Children and the Lifetime movie, A Rose For Her Grave: The Randy Roth Story. And now she’s starring in another Lifetime movie, You’re Not Supposed To Be Here.
In You’re Not Supposed To Be Here, Chrishell will play Zoe, pregnant partner to Kennedy (Diora Baird). Following Kennedy’s boss offering them the key to his cabin in the woods as a getaway from the stress in their lives, the couple find themselves taking a “babymoon” in a remote mountain town. What could go wrong?
This is a thriller, so of course things go sideways. Zoe assumes that the unwelcoming townspeople are homophobic. But could something even more sinister be occurring? Kennedy brushes off Zoe’s anxieties as being pregnancy hormones, which I’m sure will go down well.
According to the film’s description: “Just as the two let their guards down, their nightmare begins. They realise they are completely unprepared for what is in store, and that the townspeople want something the two have.”
You’re Not Supposed To be Here premieres on Lifetime on 4 November.
