TV: High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season four
Released on 9 August, the fourth and final season of the mockumentary High School Musical: The Musical: The Series sees the return of some of our favourite characters. After coming out in season three, we cannot wait to see fan fave Ashlyn (Julia Lester) explore her identity even further.
MUSIC: Lucy Spraggan – Balance
There are so many new, queer, glorious albums coming out today! Lucy Spraggan has just dropped her highly anticipated seventh album Balance following the release of her memoir Process this year.
Lucy said: “This album is really a time capsule of the last decade and it starts right back with the song Everything Changes that samples the song Last Night which is what catapulted me into the public eye. It’s an album about perseverance and finding hope and keeping on moving forward. It intersects very much with my book Process. Really this whole album sort of outlines a different kind of process.”
BOOK: The Pirate and the Porcelain Girl by Emily Riesback and Nora J. Barna
A sapphic YA graphic novel about pirates? Sign us up! Cursed with porcelain skin and on the run from a zealous knight, Ferra is forced to trust pirate captain Brig to reunite her with her ex-girlfriend. But perhaps what she’s looking for is a little closer to home…
