This morning (29 June) a roundtable discussion to celebrate Pride was hosted by Keir Starmer MP and chaired by DIVA Publisher Linda Riley. The talk featured LGBTQIA business leaders and allies and included LGBTQIA women such as chair of the Barclays FA Women’s Super League and Championship board Dawn Airey, LSEG’s Arlene McDermott, Stonewall CEO Nancy Kelley, The Social Element founder and CEO Tamara Littleton, CEO of Ruebik Christina Brooks and managing director of Sedulo Group Cathryn Wright. It was also attended by Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities in the UK Anneliese Dodds.

With Pride Month shortly coming to an end, it’s great to see such conversations held between LGBTQIA leaders and MPs. Our very own Linda celebrated the occasion with an Instagram post where she wrote: “I was so delighted & Proud to be invited to Chair a @uklabour Party LGBTQIA Plus Business Leaders Meeting with @keirstarmer today – Quite simply ‘To be part of the conversation we need to be included in the conversation’ Feeling hopeful for some big and positive changes ahead for our #LGBTQIA community”.
DIVA magazine celebrates 29 years in print in 2023. If you like what we do, then get behind LGBTQIA media and keep us going for another generation. Your support is invaluable.
