In a historic moment for any bedtime story lovers, England cricketers Nat and Katherine Sciver-Brunt will appear on children’s beloved TV show Bedtime Stories on CBeebies. Nat and Katherine will be the first ever queer couple to read on the show with the episode airing on 9 June.

One of the books the pair will read is Find Your Happy by Emily Coxhead, a story about a sloth trying to understand its emotions.

“It’s really important to know that it is OK to feel different things or not fit in and to know that you will find your comfort zone,” Nat explained

The pair were happily married in May last year, and are both firm fixtures on the field. They will actually be reading their stories from Trent Bridge Cricket Ground which will host the opening of the Women’s Ashes later this month.

Katherine added: “We had a lot of fun. We’re delighted to have been a part of it, especially as a couple. It’s really nice to be able to do something so different and hopefully our nieces and nephews will enjoy watching us read a CBeebies Bedtime Story.”

Make sure to tune in to CBeebies’ on 9 June if you want a bedtime story!
