Hey DIVAs, hasn’t awards season been a memorable one? From Will Smith’s slap to the iconic performances from Lil Nas X, Lady Gaga and Beyonce. But the cherry on top of the cake was the array of sensational looks served up by our favourite LGBTQI celebs.
Ariana DeBose at the Oscars
The West Side Story actor became the first openly queer woman of colour to win an Oscar. And as if that wasn’t enough, she looked absolutely gorgeous for her victory in this red silk Valentino look.
Arlo Parks at the GRAMMYs
The singer and double nominee wore a stylish shorts suit designed by Simone Rocha, creating what she called a “custom spiky gothic prince moment”.
Lady Gaga at the BAFTAs
This waist-cinching old-Hollywood Ralph Lauren dress was perfectly complimented by the singer’s classic blonde curls. The outfit has “iconic” written all over it.
Lena Waithe at the Oscar after party
American actor, producer, and screenwriter Lena wore the perfectly-tailored Prada suit of our dreams to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Kirsten Stewart at the Oscars
KStew received mixed opinions on this full Chanel look, some saying that its plunging neckline and short-shorts were “inappropriate”, but we beg to differ. The slinky short-suit and dark eye make-up gave off cool, rock-chic vibes. And let’s be honest – she looked stunning.
Indya Moore at the Critics Choice Awards
This rose-gold sequined dress by Off-White is almost as much of a masterpiece as Indya Moore themself. It was paired with Swarovski jewellery and a classy cropped hairstyle.
Wanda Sykes at the Oscars
The Black-ish actor looked timelessly elegant in this white Sergio Hudson tuxedo and glowing makeup.
Halsey at the GRAMMYs
The singer was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album and pulled out all the stops with this skirt and corset from PRESSIAT and Tiffany jewellery.
Halsey (again) at the Oscar after-party
This lace Dolce & Gabbana dress has us… speechless. Enough said.
Laverne Cox at the Oscars
Laverne looked stunning in this black gown by August Getty and a classy up-do.
Michelle Zauner at the GRAMMYs
The lead creator behind the band Japanese Breakfast was a modern indie icon in this yellow Valentino number.
