Performing her one-woman comedy stage shows for over two decades, Clare Summerskill is returning for a UK tour this spring. Yay! Appearing as a guest on Richard and Judy, featuring on The Royal Variety Show and forming part of the line-up for the Stonewall productions at The Royal Albert Hall, Clare is one to shout about. She has written comedy shows for BBC Radio 4, from Weekending to Heated Rollers, and will be taking her jokes across the country in May and June 2022.
Described as a “lesbian Victoria Wood” by Women’s Hour, “engaging and charming” by Time Out, and “one of the funniest women in the UK” by What’s On, Clare isn’t one to miss. Her latest show, I’ve Been Clare Summerskill, combines her comedic and songwriting talents, reflecting upon her self-described career as a “professional lesbian”.
