BY SOPHIE GRIFFITHS

All you queer film fans out there, there’s a chance to see a screening of the fabulous They Them Us on Friday evening, 16 October – virtually of course, as part of the LA Femme Film Festival.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and their stellar cast. Moderated by DIVA Box Office/ Jackdaw Media and the wonderful Sade Giliberti. Hosting the Q&A will be Jane Marlow and Virginia Orr of Donut Films.

Wanna find out more? Check out our interview with Writer and Director Jane Marlow here.

The synopsis reads: “Suze has everything a young gay woman could hope for. A partner she adores, a great job with prospects, a group of friends she hangs out with and her football team, Victoria Park Women FC. There’s one fundamental thing she lacks: a certainty about her gender identity.”

She’s contained and justified her discomfort for years but when her secret breaks, her journey in series one towards a non-binary they/them identity comes with powerful and challenging consequences.”

Tickets to the screening are available here. The trailer for They Them Us is available here.
