“Our digital doors are wide open”

“Hey, DIVA family. Welcome to our new digital hangout, a safe space to meet, chat and collaborate,” begins the new Facebook-based, DIVA Community, launched as a way of bringing the lez/bi community closer together amid everything that’s happening in the world right now.
“In these uncertain times when social distancing has become the norm, many of us are feeling anxious and isolated,” writes DIVA editor-in-chief Carrie Lyell. “But just because we can’t be together physically doesn’t mean we can’t support those of us who are struggling.”
“Community, and chosen family, is more important than ever. In our hangout spot, we’ll be posting exclusive content, discussion topics and ideas for entertaining yourself and your family during the coming months. We’ll be bringing you virtual pubs, book clubs, comedy nights, fitness classes, celebrity cameos, and more!”
The DIVA Digital hangout is a chance to get to know each other in a supportive environment, and a chance to get to know Team DIVA better too. So come in, have a cup of tea, and let’s get through this – together.
