Say hello to the whole new host of diverse characters that we’re already a little bit in love with…

Instagram has been filling up our feeds this week with some introductions to the new faces of The L Word: Generation Q, along with some old favourites.
The rebooted series will pick up where it left off, following Bette, Shane and Alice as their lives intertwine with the new diverse set of characters. Of course, there will still be plenty of love, heartbreak and sex involved, but we’re unsure of the nitty gritty details just yet.
There’s a few more updates coming our way before the show arrives on our screens in December, so we’ll let you know any further information ASAP.
Can you tell we’re excited? It’s not like we’ve been waiting 10 years or anything…
Jacqueline Toboni is playing the role of Sarah “Finley”. She’s a charming, but unfocused assistant who struggles to reconcile her sexuality with her religious upbringing.
Alice is no stranger to the show and we’re so happy she’s back. This time round she’s the host of her own chat show and production company – she seems to be doing better than ever!
Micah is played by Leo Sheng and is apparently “an earnest, soft-spoken adjunct professor who is forced to confront his fear of vulnerability”.
Rosanny Zayas plays Sophie who is a TV producer that guards her heart and is quick to put other people’s needs before her own. Sounds like our kind of gal!
The countdown is on! There’s just 31 days to go until The L Word: Generation Q premieres on Showtime.
In the meantime, get excited for the December issue of DIVA where the one and only Jennifer Beals (AKA Bette Porter) is our cover star!💫
Only reading DIVA online? You’re missing out. For more news, reviews and commentary, check out the latest issue. It’s pretty badass, if we do say so ourselves.
