Comedian and actor Cameron Esposito will be hosting the highly anticipated second season of Revry’s King Of Drag.
Season one of the show was a runaway success, with 2.2 million show viewers and 33 million minutes watched, highlighting the need for drag king visibility on screen. The show’s mission is “to bring focus to the overlooked talents, artistry, and cultural impact of drag kings.”
The second season will feature judges like RuPaul’s Drag Race star Gottmik, actor Vico Ortiz and Revry co-founder Damian Pelliccione. Viewers can also expect to see guest judges like RuPaul royalty Yvie Oddly and Ginger Minj, as well as former King Of Drag contestants like Henlo Bullfrog and Big D.
Christopher J. Rodriguez, co-creator and Revry’s co-founder and chief creative officer, said, “Cameron Esposito brings bold new energy and razor-sharp wit to the series, while guest judges Dustin Lance Black, Yvie Oddly, and Ginger Minj turn Season 2 into must-watch television.”
Pelliccione added, “The return of Season 1 standout kings signals more than nostalgia, it’s a direct reinvestment in the drag king community that the show set out to elevate. These are artists, activists, and entertainers who understand the power of performance and the importance of uplifting underrepresented voices.”
King Of Drag has been a pioneering force bringing drag kings to the fore. The second season promises to be an even bigger stage.
