With Pride Month in full swing, the season for celebrating has only just begun. Events are taking place across the UK throughout the summer, so you’ll always have something to look forward to. Below you can find some exciting upcoming events where you can celebrate your identity with your fellow gays and enthusiastic allies!
Suffolk Pride Fringe Festival
June
Acting as an alternative to a Pride Day, Suffolk Pride Fringe Festival is operating five weeks of events in June. These events this year are themed around Rebirth with special reference to how the LGBTQIA+ community has gone through difficult times and come out the other side, even as our existence is debated. Still to come this month are queer life drawing at Ipswich County Library (hosted by Liminal Gaze Collective), a gossip and craft session by B*tch & Stitch X Luna Haven, and a wellbeing walk in Felixstowe.
Pride Edinburgh
20 June
Join the biggest and longest-running Pride in Scotland for a march through the heart of the city on 20 June. Pride Edinburgh initially started off as a grassroots march and has since evolved into a large-scale event which combines activism, music, community, and joy. This year will feature the parade, a Community Fair and Queer Creatives Market, and Main Stage performances from Cher Lloyd, Kah-Lo, and Kelli-Leigh.
Caithness Pride
20 June
Celebrating love, inclusion, and community, Caithness Pride is the UK mainland’s northernmost pride. A relatively new pride, it was started in 2025 and welcomed over 1,000 visitors. The atmosphere for the Pride is all about community spirit, and the parade begins on Thurso High Street on 20 June. Other workshops and events will also be available, including circus skills and live music.
Dartmouth Pride
27 June
Hosting their sixth Pride this year, Dartmouth Pride will take place on Saturday, 27 June. The event kicks off at 10:30 am sharp with a Pride Walk starting at Dartmouth Castle and heading back into the town. Please note, pets are welcome! At 11 am, the Pride Festival begins at Royal Avenue Gardens with live music and market stalls. Then, at 6:30 pm, the Late Pride Afterparty is happening at Dartmouth Yacht Club.
Hackney Pride Fayre
28 June
Looking for a more locally focused event? This council-funded programme in Hackney is perfect for a relaxed and fun day out. Sunday 28 June will see two markets run by LGBTQIA+ traders pop up, a range of workshops (including a self-defence class and a bedazzling workshop), as well as talks and an end-of-day cabaret. Taking place at Chatsworth Road market, Chats Palace, and Homerton Library in Hackney, there’s a host of activities to explore.
Belfast Pride Festival
17 – 26 July
Turning 35 years old this year, Belfast Pride is a multi-day festival spanning from Friday 17 July to Sunday 26 July. The theme for this year will be announced soon. Pride Day on Saturday, 25 July, will host the Pride Parade beginning at 1 pm from Custom House Square. Applications for community groups, unions, businesses, and organisations to march in the parade are still open and will close on 30 June 2026.
North Wales Pride
18 July
North Wales Pride has returned, this year hosted in Holyhead on 18 July. The day will include a host of stalls and activities, followed by an evening of music and drag at the Ucheldre Centre. The evening will be hosted bilingually by comedian Katie Gill with performances including Justin Drag and Liam J Edwards, among others.
Happy Valley Pride
18 – 26 July
Taking place in Hebden Bridge, Happy Valley Pride will run from 18 to 26 July 2026. With their 10th anniversary this year, the event has gone from strength to strength, celebrating the local LGBTQIA+ community in Hebden Bridge and the wider local area of West Yorkshire. Join Happy Valley Pride for a range of events across the week, including a Big Day Out at Calder Holmes Park featuring La Voix.
Liverpool Pride
25 July
Another year, another fabulous Pride in Liverpool. The parade, scheduled for Saturday, 25 July 2026, will see thousands take to the streets to march for LGBTQIA+ visibility. This year’s opening party features plenty of British icons, including the Sugababes, Bimini, and Tia Kofi on Friday 24 July. The opening party will also showcase local LGBTQIA+ community performers.
Brighton & Hove Pride
1-2 August
With a whole range of events planned, Brighton & Hove Pride is the perfect way to catch all the different parts of a Pride event. The Community Parade takes place on Saturday, 1 August, with the theme “The Power of Love” which is expressed through solidarity, resistance and community. Then, join the Street Party on 1 and 2 August, where you can catch Gok Wan and a DJ set from Bimini. Alternatively, if a festival is more your vibe, you can head over to Pride on the Park, where Raye and Diana Ross will be headlining the Saturday and Sunday shows, respectively.
Cardiff Trans Pride
26 September
Cardiff Trans Pride is currently the first and only Trans Pride in Wales and acts as a space to celebrate trans, intersex, and non-binary people. Scheduled for Saturday, 26 September, more details from the team are to follow, so keep an eye on their Instagram!
