Light the fire, grab the snacks and plop yourself down in front of the TV – December is full of brilliant new queer releases. Whether you’re binge-watching a series to avoid the cold or heading to the cinema to fill the Christmas break, there is definitely something to watch for everyone.
Fortune Feimster: Crushing It
3 December
The stand-up comedian’s special will premiere on Netflix this month. In this comedy special, Fortune covers all the good moments of her life including her incredibly romantic honeymoon and the personal growth she’s undergone since getting married to her wife.
A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter
6 December
Look, Sabrina may not be queer, but several of her guests of this Christmas special are. Chappell Roan, Kali Uchis and Cara Delevingne are just three of the long list of stars that are set to make an appearance in the show. We can’t wait to listen to the festive duets Sabrina is sure to do with Chappell and Kali!

This horror-comedy sees fictionalised world leaders meet at the G7 to discuss an unspecified global crisis. The meeting goes awry when they get lost in the woods and haunted by undead bog bodies. Queer icon Cate Blanchett stars in this film as Hilda Ortmann, Chancellor of Germany.
Queer Eye Season Nine

The rebooted lifestyle make-over show is back for a ninth season! Since 2018, the show has seen several LGBTQIA experts, including non-binary star Jonathan Van Ness, help both straight and queer people improve their lives.Â
No Good Deed
12 December
What would you do for the perfect house? Three very different families will do almost anything in this Netflix comedy-drama series. The show is full of big names, from Friends’ Lisa Kudrow to Linda Cardellini. The most exciting for LGBTQIA audiences will be Abbi Jacobson and Poppy Liu, who play a lesbian couple desperate to buy the 1920s villa.
Kraven The Hunter
13 December
Sony’s latest superhero flick follows Sergei Kravinoff, the greatest hunter in the world. This film is part of the Sony/Marvel universe that also features Venom, Morbius and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man and could become part of the MCU. Ariana DeBose takes on the female lead, Calypso Ezili, a voodoo priestess.
