Since 2018, the Netflix Queer Eye reboot has brought audiences joy, inspiration and many tears as Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Bobby Berk and of course, grooming guru Jonathan Van Ness offer their expert skills to help transform people’s lives.

Now Jonathan is embarking on a solo journey with their new Netflix show Getting Curious With Jonathan Van Ness based on their podcast of the same title. The six-episode series will premiere later this month and will follow Jonathan as they travel to various locations and speak to experts in hopes of finding the answers to the many questions on their mind.

Long-time podcast listeners and Queer Eye fans can’t wait to see Jonathan’s positive and non-judgemental attitude in this new show as they explore topics from food and bugs to gender identity.

In the trailer, Jonathan can be heard saying: “I’m going to be embarking on a new journey of learning more … of opening my mind, learning new perspectives.” The teaser also shows them speaking with fellow non-binary artist Alok Vaid-Menon. I for one cannot wait to see the conversation between these two.

Can’t wait for the release date? Don’t worry, the podcast has been around since 2015 and there is an abundance of episodes to stream at your leisure. You can keep up to date with all things relating to the podcast here

Getting Curious With Jonathan Van Ness will be available to stream on Netflix from 28 January
