If there’s one thing we love here at DIVA, it’s a love story. Rebel Wilson and her fiancee Ramona Agruma are the definition of couple goals! Ever since they hard-launched each other in 2022, we have been obsessed with seeing their updates and watching their family grow.
In this week’s DIVA Dating Digest, come along as we have a look at the beautiful relationship timeline between the pair.
2021: Rebel and Ramona are set up
In a meeting story made for a romcom, Rebel and Ramona were actually set up by a friend. “We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting. And that was a really good way to get to know each other,” Rebel said in an interview with People magazine. “It was a bit old-school in that sense—very romantic.”

January 19, 2022: Rebel organises Ramona’s birthday celebrations
Even before the pair had hard launched each other on their social media accounts, we were getting snippets of their relationship together without even realising. On her birthday Ramona posted a picture beaming with friends at Disneyland and the caption: “Happy birthday to me! What a fun way to celebrate. Thank you Rebel for arranging such a magical treat. Thank you everyone for amazing birthday wishes.”
March 27, 2022: Rebel and Ramona attend the Oscars
We got even more secret couple content when the beautiful pair attended the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party together. While the pair didn’t explicitly say the nature of their relationship on the carpet, people weren’t sure whether they had come just as friends or something more.
May 2022: Rebel teases that she might be seeing someone
In an interview with People magazine, Rebel left some breadcrumb clues for fans about her love life. “I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it’s great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship,” she said coyly.
“There were times – I’m not saying with all my exes, they’re great – but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn’t have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship.”
June 9, 2022: The couple make it Instagram official
Mark your calendars because 9 June is now a queer holiday! This was officially the day that we finally got to see Ramona and Rebel as a couple. Posting a cute selfie to Instagram, Rebel captioned the photo: “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess 💗🌈💗 #loveislove.”
November 3, 2022: Rebel and Ramona launch a clothing line
Given that Ramona is the founder of the sustainable clothing brand Lemon Ve Limon and jewellery brand DeLys Joaillerie, it was only a matter of time before she roped her girlfriend into the industry. In an Instagram post, Rebel revealed that she was working alongside Ramona to launch an exclusive capsule collection of loungewear called R&R Club.
November 7, 2022: The duo becomes a trio!
Rebel shook the world when she posted an Instagram on 7 November announcing the birth of her daughter Royce Lillian. “Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate,” Rebel wrote in her caption. “I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle! I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making…but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care.”
“Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!! I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly…much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club.”
February 19, 2023: Rebel and Ramona are engay-ed!
And finally, earlier this year it was announced that Rebel and Ramona were tying the knot! “We said YES!” Rebel posted to Instagram alongside a shot of Ramona’s stunning Tiffany & Co ring. Bring on the wedding pics!
