The event will take place at Rosewood London on 25 September
BY ELLA GAUCI
In the past year, it feels like trans lives, issues, and rights have become a focal talking point for the mainstream media. However, how often are these stories actually told by trans people themselves?
In a panel event on 25 September at Rosewood London, our very own deputy editor Nic Crosara will be speaking on a panel about how to talk about trans issues in the media.
Alongside the fabulous Nic will be Cliff Joannou, editor-in-chief of Attitude magazine, author Fox Fisher, and health writer Jess Hacker to discuss how the media can better report on the lives of trans individuals. They will be smashing stereotypes, dispelling myths, and advising on how to cover stories about trans issues.
The event begins at 6:30 pm, and will include canapés and a glass of champagne on arrival.
