Yesterday (16 July), the Real Housewives Of Orange County star, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, announced her engagement to her partner Jennifer Spinner, and we couldn’t be happier for the couple.
The pair each posted a series of photos on their Instagram accounts to share the news, showcasing the stunning picnic spread Braunwyn had put together for the proposal. With rainbow macaroons, a huge “Marry Me” sign, and print-out photos of the couple’s favourite moments, it was the perfect LGBTQIA proposal and served up serious cottagecore vibes.
Braunwyn revealed the details of the day in the caption, adding that they have already set a date. “She said “YES!” Happy Anniversary @hashtag_blehssed , I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place then where we first met to ask you to be my wife and spend your life with me! You truly are my person, I love you in all the ways, big and small, and I can’t wait to marry you.”
The couple, who got together in July 2022, have spent the past year posting the most adorable couple photos. From date nights to Valentine’s trips to Vegas, we can’t get enough of the couple and all their queer joy.
Braunwyn came out as a lesbian in December 2020 in an interview with GLAAD, stating that “It has taken me 42 years to say that but I am so proud of where I am right now. I’m so happy where I am. To be able to be comfortable in my own skin after so long is just so nice.”
A mother of seven, Braunwyn has documented across her social media just how much her children love Jennifer, providing us with some much-needed LGBTQIA family representation.
Congratulations Braunwyn and Jennifer! We cannot wait for all the wedding content.
