Take part today and help shine a light on the specific needs of LGBTQIA women and non-binary people

BY DIVA STAFF

Do you want to share your thoughts on how we can improve the lives of LGBTQIA women and non-binary people? Well, it’s that time of year again. As we near Lesbian Visibility Week (24 – 30 April), we’ve launched our annual DIVA Survey in partnership with Kantar, the people behind the world’s first Inclusion Index, who are fielding the survey for us.

Through this survey we will highlight the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA women and non-binary people, putting our needs centre stage, and shaping the work of DIVA and our charity and corporate partners for many years to come.

In 2021, our survey results highlighted the experiences of LGBTQIA women and non-binary people amid the pandemic and their experiences with mental health. Our findings also showed that Only 31% of bisexual respondents said they were open with all their close friends about their sexuality, compared to 57% of lesbian respondents. In addition, 81% of lesbian respondents said they were open with all or most of their family members, whereas only 50% of bisexual people said the same.

This year’s survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and all answers will remain confidential and anonymous, so feel free to open up about your experiences. Your responses will only be used for aggregated analysis and you will not be identifiable.

The survey has now been closed and the results from this year’s survey will be published during Lesbian Visibility Week, which takes place between 24 – 30 April.
