The cover star of our October 2022 issue is taking the stage with Gregory Porter for a beautiful evening of soul

On 16 June Emeli Sandé, Gregory Porter, and special guest Tunde Baiyewu will be performing at Nocturne Live, promising an evening of sweet soul music for the summer. The event will be hosted at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire which known as the most beautiful venue in the UK, and I cannot think of a more fitting place for these singers to share their stunning voices.
Now if you read our October issue you know how much love DIVA has for Emeli and her music. Her openness about her queer identity has been so inspiring to many Black queer people because of how celebrated she is in the community, and of course we will always jump at the opportunity to witness the magic of her voice.
