Sydney WorldPride (SWP) is gearing up for its 2023 festival, across 17-days of celebration, and with over 300+ events taking place across the city. DIVAs, you’ll be delighted to know that this much-loved Mardi Gras Parade will be returning to Oxford Street for the first time in three years! So get packing for a summer Down Under.
Here are some of the many events you don’t want to miss!
Ultra Violet, Sydney Town Hall (3 March, 5pm – 1am)
You’ll want to book fast to makes sure you don’t miss Ultra Violet, the premier event for LGBTQIA+ women during Sydney WorldPride. Sydney Town Hall’s vaulted spaces will be transformed into a party event that immerses and devours. Find out more.
Mardi Gras Fair Day, Victoria Park (19 February, 10am-9pm)
Are you ready to kick off SWP in true Mardi Gras style? This will be an unforgettable all-day all-rainbow extravaganza. Find out more.
Live And Proud: SWP Opening Concert Presented by American Express, The Domain (24 February, 3-9pm)
This event will welcome the world to Sydney in style. Get ready to enjoy an impressive line-up of musicians and get the WorldPride party started. Find out more.
Mardi Gras Parade, Oxford Street (25 February, 6-11pm)
The much-loved parade is coming home to Sydney’s iconic Oxford Street for the first time in three years, and is the biggest event of SWP. Get ready to be dazzled as 12k marchers and 200 floats fill Oxford Street in a wonderful showcase of LGBTQI beauty and strength. Find out more.
Domain Dance, The Domain (26 February, 3–10pm)
It’s time to dance…with 10,000 of your closest friends. Across 7 hours of party, Domain Dance Party will be the biggest LGBTQIA+ circuit event Australia has ever seen. Find out more.
Rainbow Republic Presented by Optus, The Domain (5 Match, 3-9pm)
Six hours of live music, DJs and performances await you at The Domain, for a queer megamix of international and local acts. Find out more.
Pride March, Sydney Harbour Bridge (5 March, 7-10am)
