This is an unmissable event for QTIPOC women, non-binary and trans folx

Happy Pride season DIVAs! So often, LGBTQI spaces and nightlife are not created with Black and brown folx in mind. Which means, it can be challenging to find events during Pride month where we can embrace all of ourselves.

Well, Moonlight Experiences sure does have a treat for any readers who know this feeling all too well. On Saturday 2 July, Moonlight Experiences and Glass House have powered an alternative party, Brown Suga, where QTIPOC can party the night away.

Pride is about protesting, unity and celebrating ourselves and our community in an unapologetic way. So head on over to Glass House at 8pm to let the good times roll.

Led by activist and socialpreneur, Aisha Shaibu, Brown Suga will cultivate a welcoming environment where people can bring their true selves to the party. You can turn up with your friends or come solo, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet some new people.

There are two dance rooms to vibe in and attendees can look forward to a glorious lip sync competition. Ivicore, Amancai, Dj Mimi, Sasoraye and DJ Krystal Lake are all featured on the DJ line up for the evening.

Finding inclusive LGBTQI spaces when you are QTIPOC can be challenging, the same can be said for finding alcohol free spaces. Which is why it’s great that this event will have a non-alcoholic space surrounding by queer books for people to hang around in if they so wish.

This is not one to miss out on and tickets are selling fast. So what are you waiting for? Get yours here.
