INTERVIEW BY ELEANOR NOYCE, IMAGE BY GIULIA DELAY
With one album and two EPs behind her, empathy, authenticity and empowerment are central themes in Mogli’s work. Her second album, RAVAGE, is due for release in May. Our April issue features an exclusive interview so here’s your sneak peek at what the artist had to say:
Growing up with two mums…
“My upbringing made me an advocate for queer rights, and I’m queer myself. That was my normal – it wasn’t crazy or anything.”
“It became my passion to empower other women, because I know so many women who didn’t have that as a kid.”
“I’m making myself vulnerable with the project by sharing my battles and my mental struggles. I invite other people to make themselves vulnerable, too.”
