Hailie on…

Discovering the ballroom scene

“It was this mind-blowing experience, because there were people that connected me to the gods I always knew were existing. I got thrust into this underground world of celebrities.”

Finding a way to embrace her true self

“Certain labels are what make us think we’re different from the next person. I’m just Hailie, I’m myself and I don’t want to be boxed into anything.”

The impact of POSE

“I’ve had so many of my trans sisters and brothers DM me, message my team, say that they see themselves in me. I see myself in them too and it’s a good feeling.”
