#WorkFair is set to take place 24 March 2021 and will team LGBTQI job seekers with inclusive workplaces

myGwork is the business community for LGBTQI professionals, graduates, inclusive employers, and anyone who believes in workplace equality. With their main aim being to empower the LGBTQI community by offering a safe space to connect with inclusive employers, this year they are launching a new digital careers day, #WorkFair.Â
On 24 March 2021, this one-day global career fair will introduce LGBTQI job seekers and inclusive employers. Alongside interview-scheduling and direct-messaging capabilities, the one-day job fair will also include webinars on CV writing, managing career changes during a pandemic and interview skills.
#WorkFair’s focus is not only on job seekers but on potential employers too – those seeking to recruit the best and the brightest from the widest pool possible will have to demonstrate they are living up to inclusive workplace practices.
This brand new event builds on the success of last year’s event launched by myGWork, #WorkPride, which brought together high-level LGBTQI professionals, consultants and thought leaders. Conversations focused on job opportunities, hiring practices and mental health and wellbeing, highlighting the need for an event that can connect professionals with the right employers.

Adrien Gaubert, who co-founded myGwork with his brother Pierre, said: “It’s really important that those of us with the means, access, and opportunity are paying attention to the data coming out about the economic impact of Covid-19. For those of us committed to equality in the workplace, we need to be offering up our platforms, using our influence, and demanding more from those around us to make sure that employment opportunities are reaching as widely as possible. In myGwork’s case, we have two communities ready and willing to engage: employers and job seekers. #WorkFair is one of the ways we are bringing these two groups together.”
