Huge names such as Sam Bailey and Divina de Campo have joined forces in aid of The Care Workers’ Charity

Ever wanted to see a bunch of your favourite celebs singing a cappella versions of some gay anthems? Today is your lucky day.
An a cappella army of celebrities and entertainment personalities have joined forces to perform a lockdown megamix in aid of The Care Workers’ Charity.
There are almost two million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society. They spend their careers assisting others, but when circumstances change, sometimes it is the carers who need some help.
Developed by Nic Chiapetta (AcaArmy) and Howlin Entertainment Ltd, the idea was inspired by the current Coronavirus playlist meme songs and covers trending across the globe.
The AcaArmy A Cappella lockdown song features gay anthems such as Staying Alive, Fever, and Toxic, just to name a few.
“Who’s involved?” We hear you ask. None other than Sam Bailey (X factor winner), Divina de Campo (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK), Amanda Cole (former En Vogue), as well as many familiar faces from the West End.
The Care Workers’ Charity will use all of the funds raised from the video to provide grants to care and support workers requiring financial support during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Kev Orkian, CEO of Howlin Entertainment commented: “The main aim of this fab project is to raise money for the nations incredible care workers who are at the front line of the fight against Coronavirus. Throughout history, in times of trouble, people have always turned to the arts to help them escape, laugh or to simply put a smile on their face.
