Nominations for The Gaydio Pride Awards 2024 were opened today in 10 of the 13 categories including Volunteer of the Year, Venue or Event of the Year, and Charity of the Year. The 2024 Awards will be dedicated to celebrating those who have helped better LGBTQIA lives across the country, with a particular focus on regional and grassroots efforts.

It’s now your time to highlight the people, charities, events and organisations who are actively working to make life for the LGBTQIA community better. Nominees will be whittled down into a shortlist and the winner will be decided by a panel of judges.

Kriss Herbert, Network Content Director at Gaydio, said: “We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Gaydio Pride Awards with Hilton in 2024. Gaydio is the UK’s LGBTQIA Station and it’s important to us that we recognise the fantastic achievements of the people, events, organisations and charities who work so hard to support the LGBTQ+ community across the UK.”

“We know supporting the LGBTQIA community is paramount to Hilton’s mission which is why we are proud to welcome them back as our Headline Partner for the second year running.”

Last year’s Gaydio Pride Awards were a roaring success with performances from Escapism singer Raye, a set from DJ dance-legend Sigala, and a show-stopping performance from Drag Race royalty Danny Beard.

Some of the winners from the 2023 awards included Trans Pride Brighton for Grassroots Pride of the Year, Cat Burns for Music Artist of the Year, and a Lifetime Achievement award for human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell.
