Launched as a way of bringing the lez/bi community closer together with everything that’s happening in the world right now, the Facebook-based, digital hangout DIVA Community has grown to a membership of well over 2000 women and non-binary folk, hailing from all around the globe. Pretty impressive, eh?

While the private group is primarily a space for DIVA readers, followers and friends to connect with each other while practising social distancing, to share their stories and, lezbehonest, to post pictures of their cats, the DIVA Community has also had it’s fair share of celebrity guests – all of whom are using the platform to send messages of support to their fans and followers.

So far, DIVA’s online space has been visited by Suranne Jones, Adele Roberts and Kate Holderness, Suzi Ruffell, Sandi Toksvig, Dawn Butler, Denise Welsh, Horse McDonald, Catherine Russell – and that’s just to name a few.

Still, at its heart, The DIVA Community is about getting to know one another in a supportive environment – as well as a chance to get to know Team DIVA a little better too. So come in, have a cup of tea, and let’s get through this as the wonderful community that we are.
