“I love you and I wouldn’t have done anything differently”

Lead singer of pop rock band The 1975, Matty Healy – aka DIVA Ally Of The Year – has defied Dubai’s strict laws after kissing a male fan during a performance there.
Homosexuality is currently illegal and punishable by imprisonment in the country.
Writing on Twitter afterwards, Healy said: “Thank you Dubai you were so amazing. I don’t think we’ll be allowed back due to my ‘behaviour’ but know that I love you and I wouldn’t have done anything differently given the chance again”
Healy has been outspoken about LGBTQI rights in the past – much like his mum, Denise Welch, who, as well as being a DIVA Pride Issue cover star, also stars in lez/bi web series Different For Girls.
Thankfully some things run in the family…
