Looking for an inclusive and welcoming space especially for women and non binary folk this Pride?

This year, Pride In London will once again host the DIVA Women’s Stage – a stage dedicated to fabulous women and non binary artists! What’s more, it’s also completely free and accessible for all.
On Saturday 6 July, Leicester Square in central London will become the home of said DIVA Women’s Stage, and from 12-7.30pm, there will be non-stop entertainment from some of the top, queer female artists in the game right now – plus lots of new and local acts too!
Among those performing will be the finalists of this year’s Pride’s Got Talent, a competition dedicated to providing a space for up-and-coming LGBTQI performers. The PGT artists, including Camilla Lewington and Ina Shai, will be taking to the stage from 13.50-15.05, so make sure you don’t miss ’em!
Then, from 15.35, lez/bi icon Saara Aalto will be performing! You’ll no doubt recognise Saara from the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest where she represented Finland – or from the 2016 UK X Factor where she was a runner up!
FACT! Saara is also the voice behind Dance Like Nobody’s Watching, the official Pride In London 2019 song which she will be performing on the DIVA Women’s Stage. One for the diary right there.
Then, an hour after Saara’s performance, the stage will be graced by the iconic Sinitta, famous for her successful music career and TV appearances on The X Factor and I’m A Celebrity!
Also a proud LGBTQI ally, she’s just released her song, Shine With Pride, to show her continuing support of the queer community. YASSS, Sinitta.
Later in the evening at 18.10, actor, musician and LGBTQI lez-gend, Heather Peace – of Lip Service fame, no less – will also be performing on the DIVA Women’s Stage.
With four successful albums under her belt, HP is also involved with a number of organisations that are committed to supporting the LGBTQI community – and she’s a co-presenter (alongside Rosie Wilby) on Radio DIVA, did you know?
After Heather gets us all bopping, Becky Hill, who appeared in season one of The Voice, will follow after just dropping her awesome new music video for her song Wish You Well (in collaboration with Sigala).
She’s sure to put on a performance that’ll get everyone dancing.
These are just some of the acts that will be gracing the DIVA Women’s Stage this year, for the full and detailed listings click here.
Most importantly though, remember to head down to Leicester Square and check out everything the Women’s Stage has to offer – we’ll see you there!
