Taking place at Swansea Guildhall, this free celebration is sure to be a day of joy

Get ready to get your rainbow flags out and say “croeso” to Swansea this May with the celebration of their Pride this year. Celebrating the LGBTQIA community in all its glory, get ready to parade through the streets and dance the day away at this beacon of queer joy. 

Here’s everything you might need to know before heading to Swansea Pride this month! 

When is Swansea Pride 2024? 

18 May, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Do I pay to go to Swansea Pride?

No, it’s free! And there are no tickets needed. 

Where is Swansea Pride taking place?

Swansea Guildhall. 

When is the Swansea Pride Parade?

The Parade starts at 11 am. If you want to join in, head over to Wind Street at 10:45 am. If you’re in a group of over 10 people you will have to register here. Small groups and individuals do not need to register to take part. 

Who is performing on the Main Stage in Swansea Guildhall? 

The Main Stage will be hosted by Ruby Slippers, Opal Fruits, Jamie Jenkins, Corrin Cassini and Diana D. It will see performances from The Queens of Swansea, Chae With A C, Gypsy Divine, Jessica Rarebit, Ivory Fierce, Lywis, Lucy Lou and more. 

What is happening at Brangwyn Hall at Swansea Pride? 

At Brangwyn Hall, you will be able to find Swansea Pride Community Zone which will feature lots of information stalls from organisations, support services, charities, community groups and some craft traders as well. 

How can you get to Swansea Pride 2024? 

Parking is available in Baths Car Park, St Helen’s Road & Recreation Ground, Oystermouth Road. There are also regular buses from Swansea Bus Station to the Guildhall and Oystermouth Road (The Slip), and the Number 4 bus from Swansea train station. 

Will Swansea Pride be accessible? 

At Swansea Pride, there will be viewing platforms. In order to get a wristband for this area, head over to the Information tent on the day. There is blue badge parking on site but you must register beforehand for this here. The site will have ramps, and accessible toilets, and Brangwyn Hall has lift access.
