This is not a drill. We finally have an update about the highly anticipated season two of I Kissed A Girl (IKAG). Viewers can expect to see the iconic Masseria return to our screens on 23 June on iPlayer and BBC Three.

Marking the fourth instalment in the I Kissed A… franchise, this new series will see another 10 single girls head to Italy to find true love. As with previous series, LGBTQIA+ ally Dannii Minogue will be hosting the show, and lesbian icon Charley Marlowe will be back to narrate all the highs, lows, drama and heartfelt conversations.

Season one of the show was groundbreaking in its representation of LGBTQIA+ women. Viewers everywhere found a whole new generation of role models to look up to, with stars like Amy Spalding going on to champion LGBTQIA+ visibility and queer rights.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the second season of IKAG would be the last in the I Kissed A… franchise, leaving viewers everywhere gutted. The decision was made “in light of [their] funding challenge”. For Lesbian Visibility Week 2026, the cast of season one spoke out publicly about the devastating effect of this cancellation.

Four new episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer on 23 June at 6 am, with episodes one and two airing on BBC Three on 23 June, and episodes three and four on 24 June from 9 pm. Following this, two brand-new episodes will be available every Tuesday at 6 am on iPlayer and 9 pm on BBC Three.
