Join us to listen to insightful panels, support LGBTQIA-owned businesses and play table football
BY PIPPA DALE AND SANDY CHUCHUCA ORDÓÑEZ
On 26 April, UKBlackPride, LBTQWomen, Pride in London and Lez Meet are taking over WeWork Waterloo for a feel-good day of connection, celebration and visibility as part of Lesbian Visibility Week 2025. This isn’t your usual sit-down-and-listen kind of event. Think relaxed vibes, thoughtful conversations, and loads of opportunities to meet new people. There’ll be queer-women-led market stalls, a foosball table, table tennis, comfy spaces to hang out, and a community that feels like home.
We’ll be joined by incredible voices from across the LGBTQIA community. Expect thought-provoking panels including Voices in Media, exploring queer representation through the lens of creators, storytellers and public figures. Guests include Lady Phyll of UK Black Pride fame; content creator Rosie Turner and so many more exciting speakers to be announced.
We’re also thrilled to mark the launch of 94 Percent, a brand-new podcast hosted by Rachel Shelley (aka Helena Peabody in The L Word) and world renowned international sports woman in both Hockey and Cricket Nikki Symmons.
Workshops on the day include a joyful Bachata dance class with Sanura Dance, and a grounding Breathwork session with Out & Wild. Whether you’re moving your body or taking a moment to breathe, there’s space for both energy and rest.
The event also features a vibrant queer business fair where you can discover and support women and non-binary-led brands, and of course, plenty of time to meet and mingle in a space built for connection.
And we are delighted to announce this event is being captured by MegTalks who will be taking podcast interviews on the day – so along with plenty of selfies and Instagram opportunities with our star guests – this really will be an informative and fun event.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you’re coming solo or with pals, this is a space to feel seen, celebrated and truly yourself.
This event is a proud collaboration between LBTQWomen, Pride in London, UK Black Pride, LezMeet, Sanura Dance, Out & Wild, myGwork and DIVA Magazine, with support from WeWork and LSEG.
We’ll be using the hashtag #LVW25 — and we’d love for you to join the conversation. Share your thoughts, moments and highlights before, during and after the event.
Free to attend, but spaces are limited — we’d love to see you there.
