Jess Glynne and Alex Scott turned heads over the weekend as they made their red carpet debut at the amfAR Gala (23 May) in Cannes. The former Lioness star was at the event to support Jess’ performance at the Gala where she sang a number of songs from her new album JESS.Â
The power couple hard launched their relationship earlier this year at the BRITs where they shared a kiss on the red carpet. While they had been rumoured to be dating from May 2023, the pair have kept their relationship private until recently.Â

Neither Jess nor Alex have labelled their sexuality, but both stars have spoken openly about dating women in the past. In her memoir How (Not) To Be Strong, Alex wrote about her previous relationship with teammate Kelly Smith. She also powerfully wore the OneLove rainbow armband during the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.Â
Jess has also spoken about dating women in the past, telling The Telegraph earlier this year: “I’ve never hidden the fact that I’ve been in relationships with men and with women. That’s a massive side of my life.”
The British pop star was performing at the amfAR Gala alongside the likes of LGBTQIA ally and icon Cher. AmfAR is one of the world’s leading nonprofit organisations dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and advocacy.
