In the heart of Bristol, a kaleidoscope of colours is about to emerge, signalling the arrival of Bristol Pride 2024. As the city prepares to embrace its LGBTQIA community with open arms, we find ourselves at the cusp of a celebration that transcends mere festivity – it’s a testament to resilience, progress, and the enduring spirit of inclusivity.

From its grassroots origins to its current status as a beacon of queer visibility, Bristol Pride stands as a testament to the power of community. Join us as we navigate through the streets of Bristol, exploring the myriad events, discussions, and performances that make up this year’s festivities. From bingo boat rides to dazzling parades, Bristol Pride 2024 promises to be a celebration like no other.

When is Bristol Pride 2024?

29 June – 14 July. 

When is Bristol Pride Day? 

13 July. 

When is the Bristol Pride Parade? 

13 July. The 2024 route is to be confirmed. 

Who is playing on the Bristol Pride Main Stage?

The headliners for the highly-anticipated Main Stage on 13 July are the legendary pop band The Human League, Ladytron, Claire Richards from STEPS, and indie-pop sensation Georgia.

What else is on during Bristol Pride Day? 

On 13 July there is also a fabulous Cabaret stage to enjoy, an Uplift stage which features performances ranging from music to puppetry, a dance stage where you can practise your Zumba moves, a circus tent, and community stalls to enjoy. 

Is there an area for families and children at Bristol Pride Day? 

Yes! At Pride Day, there are family areas and youth areas for younger Pridegoers to enjoy the event. 

Will there be a sensory calm space on the day? 

Yes. There will be a safe, low-level stimulation and recalibration zone at the event to help people take a moment of calm, led by the UK charity Diverse. 

When is the official after-party for Bristol Pride?

What’s happening outside of the main Pride Day?

The real question is what’s not?! You can enjoy everything from a Pride bingo boat party to hilarious theatre shows which are taking place over the Pride period. Find out more here: bristolpride.co.uk/events/

How can you get to Bristol Pride? 

The nearest postcode for the site is BS9 1JA, Saville Road. You can travel by First Bus, by train to Bristol Temple Meads station, or via the shuttle buses running from the Amphitheatre (The Parade end) to The Downs. There is no parking provided at the festival.

Will Bristol Pride 2024 be accessible? 

There is no accessible parking on site for Bristol Pride, but blue badge holders can park on Parry’s Lane. Around the site, there will be volunteers in pink hi-vis who make up the Accessibility Champions team. There will be viewing platforms around the Main Stage and Cabaret stage, and all stages will have a BSL interpreter.
