This is not a drill. Kristen Stewart has posed in a jockstrap on the cover of Rolling Stone. And fans have gone wild.
The queer icon posed for a special Valentine’s Day cover of the magazine wearing nothing but a jockstrap and a leather vest. If that wasn’t queer enough, the title of the article was a pull quote from the interview which read: “I want to do the gayest thing you’ve ever seen in your life.”
Alongside the steamy photos, KStew revealed how Donald Trump surprisingly helped her to come out during her iconic SNL monologue. If you cast your mind back to 2017, you might remember former American President tweeting about Kristen cheating on her boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. He wrote that Robert “should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again – just watch. He can do much better!”
During her SNL monologue in 2017, Kristen shot back at these remarks saying: “Donald, if you didn’t like me then, you’re probably really not going to like me now. Because I’m hosting SNL and I’m, like, so gay, dude.”
In her Rolling Stone interview, KStew revealed how this comment was a “very shoot-from-the-hip moment” and was prompted by a discussion in the writer’s room before the show. When someone brought up his tweets, Kristen replied: “He’s mad at me for cheating on my boyfriend? Little does he know…”
Now back to the jockstrap. This iconic shoot featured a series of photos capturing KStew undressing, sending fans into a frenzy. Commenting on the photo shoot, Kristen said: “If I got through the entire Twilight series without ever doing a Rolling Stone cover, it’s because the boys were the sex symbols. Now, I want to do the gayest fucking thing you’ve ever seen in your life.”
Here’s what her fans thought about the cover…
