In this week’s DIVA Dating Digest, we have a look at the Booksmart star’s beautiful relationship timeline with her wife

Beanie Feldstein is one of Hollywood’s best “it girls”. Everything she touches turns to gold. From starring in DIVA-fave Booksmart, Lady Bird, and Neighbours 2, she’s brought us some of our favourite characters. She’s also not shied away from the stage, playing the lead role of Fanny Brice in the 2022 revival of the Broadway show Funny Girl.
Bonnie Chance Roberts, on the other hand, is far more comfortable behind the camera as a producer. She’s worked on a number of films such as Mary Queen Of Scots, Bridget Jones’s Baby, and How To Build A Girl.
The pair gave fans so much queer joy when they posted their wedding pics earlier this year – but how did this pair fall in love?
July 2018: The pair meet on set
In true rom-com style, Beanie and Bonnie met on set when Beanie was starring in Coky Giedroyc’s film How To Build A Girl. It tells the story of an aspiring music journalist in 1990s Wolverhampton. Beanie played the lead role of Johanna Morrigan, a teenager with a dream to escape her life and become a music critic.
September 2018: Beanie hard launches Bonnie on Instagram
Not long after the pair met on set, Beanie hard launched Bonnie on her Instagram with a cute couple picture. While we don’t quite know how the pair became close, this picture began years of adorable couple content! The caption read: “A few weeks ago I was in Brighton on this street with this girl and it was magic.”
December 2018: Beanie confesses her love for Bonnie
In another sweet Instagram post, Beanie took things one step further when she shared a sweet moment about the first time she knew she was in love with Bonnie.
“I took this photo of @bonnie_chance the night I knew I was in love with her,” she wrote in the caption. “She made fun of my bowling skills and then belted karaoke loud enough for all of London to hear her. She’s the brightest, silliest, warmest, most loving woman and I can’t believe she’s mine. Happy birthday, bon. you deserve the world.”
August 2020: The pair celebrate their two-year anniversary
Fast forward to 2020 and the pair celebrated their second anniversary together with a sweet comic strip-style photo. Throughout their relationship, the pair had been posting cute selfies and content to keep fans updated on their fairytale love story. “We’re two!!! Happy anniversary to my magic girl,” Beanie wrote alongside the picture.
June 2022: The pair get en-gay-ed
Our queer hearts practically soared when we saw this engagement announcement in June 2022. After four years of dating, the pair announced that they would be tying the knot with this beautiful engagement phone. “I do, bon,” Beanie wrote. The cuteness is too much to handle!
May 2023: The couple tie the knot
Earlier this year, we all obsessed over the gorgeous photos from Beanie and Bonnie’s perfect wedding. In an interview with Vogue in June 2023, the pair revealed some more details about their love story. “From the moment we first kissed, we both knew we would get married and months after that, Bon had announced that when the time came, she wanted to be the one to propose to me,” Beanie revealed.
The wedding took place on 20 May at the couple’s “happy place together”, Cedar Lakes Estate in the Hudson Valley.
June 2023: The couple celebrate Pride with a wedding video
In the ultimate Pride post, Beanie shared a sweet and intimate wedding video with fans to commemorate Pride month! We are absolutely in love with this couple’s love story, and we can’t wait to see what they do next.
