Some queer joy for you today – Stonewall, Europe’s largest LGBTQIA charity, has partnered with The Rainbow Lottery to help catalyse inclusivity, acceptance and social progress for queer rights globally.

This partnership will help fund the crucial work that Stonewall does to help LGBTQIA individuals across the world. For the last 30 years, Stonewall has been at the forefront of campaigning for LGBTQIA rights including helping to repeal Section 28. At the moment, Stonewall is particularly trying to combat anti-LGBTQIA (especially anti-trans) rhetoric in the media and society to help foster inclusivity.

Tom Gattos, Co-Founder and CEO of The Rainbow, Lottery said: “The Rainbow Lottery is honoured and excited to join forces with Stonewall, an iconic LGBTQIA organisation. Together, we will shine even brighter in our mission to support the LGBTQIA community and create a more inclusive world. We invite everyone to participate, be part of this movement, and make a tangible difference to the lives of LGBTQIA individuals.”

How does The Rainbow Lottery work? For every £1 spent by players, 50p goes to their chosen charity, 10p goes to other LGBTQIA causes and the remainder to the prize fund and administration. You can find out more about the Stonewall x The Rainbow Lottery partnership here.

Together, Stonewall and The Rainbow Lottery will harness their collective strength to advance LGBTQIA rights, champion social change, and provide much-needed support to LGBTQIA causes and organisations.

DIVA magazine celebrates 29 years in print in 2023. If you like what we do, then get behind LGBTQIA media and keep us going for another generation. Your support is invaluable.
