Known as one of the UK’s biggest – and most popular – Pride events of the year, Brighton & Hove Pride is nearly ready to burst onto the seaside in all its rainbow extravaganza once again. Having hosted the likes of Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, and Jessie J, this year’s festival is set to be an amazing event.
But with 170 acts performing over two days in 12 venues, it can feel a bit overwhelming. We’re here to give you the ultimate guide to enjoying Brighton & Hove Pride this year.
When is Brighton & Hove Pride 2023?
The main event will be held over the weekend of 5-6 August.
Where is Brighton & Hove Pride 2023?
Brighton Pride is a huge display of love and unity. Therefore, it takes up quite a lot of the city. The Parade itself will begin at Hove Lawns and then make its way into the city.
Brighton Pride’s two-day festival We Are Fabuloso will be taking place at Preston Park.
If you fancy joining The Brighton Pride Village Party head to St James’ St and the bottom end of Marine Parade in Kemptown for all the best bars. This event is ticketed.
Who is performing at Brighton & Hove Pride 2023?
Who isn’t? None other than I Gotta Feeling supergroup the Black Eyed Peas are headlining We Are Fabuloso on Saturday night. The iconic group Steps will then be taking over on Sunday to perform their hits. There are over 100 icons to watch including the likes of Dylan, Mel C, and Confidence Man.

How can I get to Brighton & Hove Pride 2023?
As this is one of the most popular Pride events of the year, Brighton Pride is expecting a lot of people. If you’re going by train make sure to have your tickets ready and that you give yourself at least one hour to get to the station before you train is supposed to leave.
There will be a shuttle bus between the City Centre and Preston Park to take you between events. With limited parking in the city centre, Brighton Pride are advising using public transport where possible.
Is Brighton & Hove Pride 2023 going to be accessible?
Brighton Pride is committed to making the event as accessible as possible for anyone who would like to attend. The Brighton Pride team advise that you contact them before the event to get all the necessary information you may need.
There will be a wheelchair viewing platform at We Are Fabuloso and a dedicated area for exercising assistance dogs adjacent to the Access tent at Pride. There will also be a team of BSL Interpreters at the main stage and at the cabaret tent at Pride in the Park.
There will be wheelchair accessible toilets throughout the Pride venues.
