The DIVA Awards were set up by Linda Riley in 2017 to celebrate the increasingly visible LGBTQIA role models that fill all the industries around us. DIVA has consistently honoured the tireless and incredible work of the LGBTQIA community ever since we were founded in 1994, and this award show embodies our central ethos and mission. We’re here to show the world how amazing our community can be in everything from music, to films, to journalism, and even in entrepreneurship.
By showcasing the varied and exceptional talent that our community has to offer, you’re doing more than just voting for your favourite show or celebrity. You’re giving a platform for LGBTQIA folk who otherwise wouldn’t have been recognised. We can’t wait to amplify the successes and achievements of our community with you all.
Head over to the DIVA Awards website now to cast your vote – every nomination counts if you want to see your fave picking up a DIVA award this year. After nominations close, the judges will shortlist their top picks, and then it’s up to you to decide who gets to take home the coveted prize.
Be sure to be following our social channels on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to stay updated as we get closer to the big night. So what are you waiting for?! Get voting now.
