I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, 2022 is the year of queer love. Here at DIVA HQ, we are huge fans of Booksmart, which instantly became one of our favourites of all time. And so you can imagine our delight when we saw that Beanie Feldstein just said yes to her girlfriend, Bonnie Chance Roberts.
The en-gay-gement photos are *stunning* and full of so much joy and love. Beanie’s brother, Jonah Hill, and her Booksmart co-star, Kaitlyn Dever, were also present in the celebratory pictures. The comment section was full of congratulations from the likes of Mae Martin, Uzo Aduba, Ali Wong and MUNA.
Beanie and Bonnie originally met when Beanie starred in How To Build A Girl, which was co-produced by Bonnie. The lovebirds have been dating for about four years and their public displays of affection throughout their relationship have always sparked so much queer joy.
Back in 2018, Beanie shared a photo of her love on Instagram, commemorating Bonnie’s birthday. The post treated followers to the details of their super romantic love story. She wrote: “I took this photo of @bonnie_chance the night i knew i was in love with her. she made fun of my bowling skills and then belted karaoke loud enough for all of london to hear her. she’s the brightest, silliest, warmest, most loving woman and i can’t believe she’s mine. happy birthday, bon. you deserve the world.”
Bonnie also shared this adorable Instagram post on Beanie’s birthday, writing: “Happy Birthday to the girl who makes me so happy that I’m in a constant state of screaming for joy! (As evidenced here) @beaniefeldstein you are the original source of magic in the universe – the most remarkable, thoughtful, kind and enchanting being to ever be created. How did I get so lucky? Happy Beanie Existence Day. I love you 💕”
Everyone here at Team DIVA is over the moon for the happy couple. Happy Pride and congratulations to Beanie and Bonnie 💞
