This year’s video features 70 celebrity guests, making it the biggest one yet!

At this year’s British Diversity Awards, comedian, film critic and artist Sarah O’Connell was shortlisted for the Campaigner Of The Year for her amazing work raising awareness and visibility to the transgender community. She’s the host of The Sarah O’Connell Show – an entertainment show on YouTube where she can be found interviewing celebrities from Keanu Reeves to Katherine Ryan and hundreds more actors, directors, singers, comedians and authors.

Each year, Sarah releases two special videos. The first, featuring messages from trans allies with the second releasing on Transgender Day of Visibility. Previous Trans Allies videos have included Jameela Jamil, Stephen Fry, Neil Gaiman and more. This year’s first video features 70 guests making it her biggest yet, with her upcoming trans community video set to feature 21 more.

You can watch this year’s video below to hear from the likes of Margaret Atwood, Vincent D’Onofrio, Dawn French, Mick Foley, Miriam Margolyes and MANY more.

Following 2021, which marked the deadliest year on record for the global trans community and the anti-LGBTQI and anti-trans legislation that is on the rise around the world this year, both trans visibility and the visibility of our allies is essential. We must show that transphobia is never okay, trans rights are human rights and continue our fight for a safer and more equal world.

Like previous years, Sarah’s second video will be posted on Transgender Day Of Visibility (31 March). Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out.
