If, like me, you spend hours scrolling through TikTok and Instagram looking for inspo on how to put together the perfect outfit, or you’re desperate to see more queer fashion popping up on your FYP or you just like looking at beautiful clothes on beautiful people, this article is for you. We’ve put together a list of some of our favourite LGBTQI fashion influencers who are sure to give you every bit of aesthetically pleasing queer joy you need.

Jazzmyne Jay
Jazzmyne Jay is a queer plus-size model and content creator best known for her work with Buzzfeed as a video producer. She uses her platform to promote body positivity, show off her incredible unique style and give styling tips to her followers. Unapologetically her queer self, her videos and posts are not overly glamourised and she shows her real routine in getting ready, including those days where you feel uncomfortable and hate everything you own. She shares her content on Instagram and TikTok.

AJ Clementine
Trans model and content creator AJ Clementine is someone many people might know because of her super popular TikTok which has led her to be dubbed the “modern-day cinderella”. As someone who’s been following her for a while, I can say that AJ’s content is always fun to watch and her soft frills and florals style gives me some serious inspo with spring around the corner. She’s also the author of Girl, Transcending, an exploration of her journey as a trans woman.

Simi Moonlight
Simi Moonlight’s gorgeous vibrant style is just one of the things we love about her. Her Instagram is filled with top tier outfits guaranteed to bring some colour and joy to your life but she also encourages open honest conversation through her writing and her videos. Across her Instagram, Youtube and TikTok, she promotes Black-owned brands, body positivity and mental wellness.

Radam Ridwan

Self-described as a “queer non-binary model and writer from Indonesian and Australian origins”, Radam Ridwan’s Instagram is a dream of trans joy and colourful clothes and their outfits are as bold and glorious as their writing. One of their coolest projects is The Lockdown Lookbook, showcasing 50 different looks for the first 50 days of lockdown, described as “A testament to getting out of bed when there’s nothing to go out for, to showing off when there’s no one to show, and the power of fashion in the creation and re-creation of oneself.”

Alok Vaid-Menon

Alok Vaid-Menon is a gender non-conforming author, poet and public speaker who created #DeGenderFashion, the movement to de-gender fashion and beauty industries. Their blending of different traditionally gendered pieces and use of expressive fashion is truly inspiring and their work is so important.

Nicolette Mason
With an Instagram full of fashion and beauty products to die for, Nicolette Mason is known for her taste-making influence. She’s a queer creative consultant, brand strategist and fashion writer who is passionate about “body positivity, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability”. Her Instagram consists of some gorgeous looks, beauty tutorials and adorable photos of her and her partner.
