“Dress to impress or come in your spooky, scary, fabulous Halloween extravagant costumes”

The nights are getting chillier, the cobwebs are starting to form and spooky season is officially upon us. Are you looking for an immersive, inclusive and thrilling night out? Well, we’ve got some spooktastic news for you.

UK Black Pride – Europe’s largest Pride celebration for LGBTQI people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American and Middle-Eastern-descent – has announced that it will be celebrating its very first Halloween themed club night, Halloqweens. So witches, gargoyles and qweens, prepare your broomsticks and save the date Saturday 30 October.

The theme, Love and Rage, is inline with last years’ annual event so dress to impress. We know you must be absolutely gagging to return and the good news is that the event will take place to the iconic Village Underground where UK Black Pride’s last pre-covid afterparty took place, from 10pm – 5am. Halloqweens will see a full line-up of DJ’s from Tayylor Made, A.G., Fiyahdred, Malika Green, DJ Biggie C, Basmati and Lady Shaka, to name a few. Immersive performers will be announced, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled on socials to stay up to date.

We at Team DIVA are very excited by this event. After all, Halloween is a huge deal for queer folks. If like us, you were saddened to not be able to celebrate this wonderful season to its full potential last year, then make sure to book your tickets here.

DIVA magazine celebrates 27 years in print in 2021. If you like what we do, then get behind LGBTQI media and keep us going for another generation. Your support is invaluable.
